Report-writing is interesting. I don’t really have a breaking mechanism when it comes to picking things apart, so once I start looking at things critically it generally goes like this:
Well, that went pretty well. -> Maybe I could have done some of these things differently. -> … and … these … things… -> OH GOD
I HAVE SCARRED THESE CHILDREN
FOR LIFE
and then I roll my eyes at my own drama, because it’s not as if I hired a guy to dress up as Voldemort and then had him do a stripping routine or anything.
… actually, that might have been an interesting way to illustrate my point about the importance of keeping a character in character.
